Exchange & Refund
How ticket changes and refunds work at Tixbox
Last updated January 2026
All ticket sales made through Tixbox are final unless an event is cancelled, postponed, or unless otherwise stated on the specific event's page. We encourage buyers to review event details, dates and venue information carefully before completing a purchase.
If an event is cancelled outright by the organiser and not rescheduled, ticket holders are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price. Refunds for cancelled events are processed automatically to the original payment method — no request is required on your part.
If an event is postponed or moved to a new date, your existing ticket remains valid for the new date automatically. If the new date doesn't work for you, you may request a refund within the window communicated by the organiser — typically 14 days from the rescheduling announcement.
Exchanges to a different date, category or ticket type are available where the organiser permits and inventory allows, subject to any price difference. One exchange is permitted per order, requests must be made before that date's on-sale closes, and exchanges are not available within 48 hours of the event.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout, typically appearing within 5–14 business days. Service and booking fees are refunded only where required by law or explicitly stated for that event.
Booking, delivery and payment processing fees are non-refundable except where an event is fully cancelled. Where a partial refund applies — such as one ticket within a multi-ticket order — fees are prorated accordingly.
Contact our support team with your order number and the change you'd like to make — we aim to respond within 1 business day.
